What we do
Our work is centred on the chimney stack and the roof around it. That means tracing chimney leaks back to where the water actually gets in, repointing tired brickwork, renewing lead flashings and back gutters, re-bedding pots and renewing flaunching, fitting cowls and caps, and rebuilding stacks that have become unsafe. We also take down redundant stacks below the roofline and carry out chimney breast removal with the proper approvals and support in place.
We do not sweep chimneys. If you use an open fire or stove, a qualified chimney sweep is the right person for the flue itself.

How we approach a job
Every job starts with a conversation. We ask what you can see, whether the flue is still used, and whether the stack is shared with a neighbour. Then we inspect, using the ground, a ladder, roof access or a drone as suits the house, and look inside where damp is showing.
After that we explain the likely cause and the options, show you photos, and give you a written quote. Access is arranged safely with scaffold or a platform, the repair is carried out, and we show you photos of the finished work so you can see what was done on the roof.

Why we will not promise a cure before inspecting
Damp around a chimney can have several causes at once, and some have nothing to do with the roof. Promising to fix a leak over the phone would mean guessing. We would rather take the time to find the cause and recommend the work that will actually help, even if that means doing less.
